Apple’s next iPhones aren’t out for another 5-6 months, but the rumour mill already has news for Apple fans. According to recent leaks, the configuration of the forthcoming iPhone 13 in Product Red version has been revealed. A dual camera setup should be present on the back, according to the rendering.
David Kowalski (@xleaks7) has collaborated with Coverpigtou.it to post CAD-based renders of the iPhone 13 in Product Red. The overall design is close to that of the iPhone 12 series, with entirely flat side rails and a notch, but the notch is slightly smaller than that of the iPhone 11 and 12 series models. The measurements are 146.64×71.5×7.56mm, which is almost equivalent to the iPhone 12 from last year.
The rear cameras are now diagonally opposite each other, with a spotlight on the top right and a microphone on the bottom left, presumably. The Apple logo is kept in the background, and the antenna bands are kept on the rails. Apple rarely makes significant design updates to its smartphone range, and this iPhone 13 render, if accurate, is just another example of that.
The fingerprint scanner, which Apple ditched in the iPhone X days, is anticipated to return in the forthcoming Apple iPhone 13 smartphones. This time, though, it will be introduced as an under-display fingerprint reader, as seen on the majority of Android devices today.
iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max are expected to be among the four models in the lineup. The iPhone 13 mini will have a 5.4-inch 60Hz LTPS OLED display, the iPhone 13 will have a 6.1-inch 60Hz LTPS OLED display, and the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will have 6.1-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED and 6.7-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED displays.
