The pricing of the JioPhone Next in India has been leaked online. Its specifications have also leaked once again, and this time we learn a little more about what the cheapest future smartphone could have to offer. The phone was created in collaboration with Google by Reliance Jio and is slated to run Android 11. (Go edition). According to the most recent rumour, it will include a 5.5-inch HD display, two storage options, and 4G VoLTE connection. In June, JioPhone Next was revealed during Reliance Industries’ 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Price of JioPhone Next in India (expected)

According to a tweet from well-known source Yogesh, the JioPhone Next might cost Rs. 3,499. It will be available in India from September 10th.

A previous leak stated that the JioPhone Next will cost less than $50, implying that the phone would cost less than Rs. 4,000 in India. This is consistent with the recent disclosure.

Specifications for JioPhone Next (expected)

The JioPhone Next is likely to come with a 5.5-inch HD display and run Android 11 (Go version). It might be powered by Qualcomm’s QM215 processor and have 2GB or 3GB of RAM. Internal storage might be 16GB or 32GB of eMMC 4.5. In terms of optics, the phone might include a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats. The JioPhone Next might include dual-SIM capability and support for 4G VoLTE. A 2,500mAh battery might power the phone.

This isn’t the first time the JioPhone Next’s specifications have been leaked. Mishaal Rahman, Editor-in-Chief of XDA Developers, has unveiled its boot animation and several features. The phone is reported to include Bluetooth v4.2, GPS connection, and 1080p video recording capability, according to Rahman’s specifications, which match the current leak. It might come pre-installed with DuoGo and Google Camera Go.
