For the first time in India, Rapido, one of India’s bike taxi networks, has announced the launch of Rapido Rental services in six Indian cities: Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Jaipur. Customers who need to perform various activities at different places and don’t want to deal with multiple bookings and waiting for a trip are targeted by the organisation.
Rapido Rental can be booked for 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, or 6 hours, and includes a designated Captain (Rapido driver-partner) who will accompany the customer on the journey. Any Captain would be available for this service, which is allowed by default for Rental in accordance with the company.
For Rs 99, you can ride up to 10 km with the 1 hour kit. The distance increases to 20 km with the 2 hour kit, which costs Rs 199. The Rs 299 3-hour kit raises the limit to 30 km. The 4-hour package costs Rs 399 and has a distance limit of 40 km, while the 6-hour package costs Rs 599 and has a distance limit of 60 km.
You will be charged Rs 10 per kilometre if you exceed your package’s distance limit, and Rs 1.5 per minute if you exceed your package’s time limit.
The corporation further outlines how the idea was conceived as a result of consumer use data research, which derived the desire as a result of people returning to everyday life and having to fulfil their daily activities outside of the home all at once.
Rapido Rental was introduced in the first Tier I cities after the organization launched an MVP (Minimal Viable Product) to test the data and hypothesis. According to the firm, it expects to extend the service to more than 100 cities where Rapido operates.
