Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Top ten features: can you buy them (or not)!

Finally, Samsung announced the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip in India, the new foldable smartphone. This smartphone is eligible for pre-order from today and is priced at Rs 1,09,999 and will launch the delivery of the pre-booked units on February 26.

This indicates that Samsung has put innovative versatile structures at the center of its consumers. Galaxy Fold was launched earlier, with a horizontal folding show, and now with Galaxy Z Flip has been equipped with a vertical folding feature. A variety of interesting features come on the device. But is the price tag of value justified? Will you find your next smartphone?? We’ve been with the handset for some time and this is something the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip you need to know.

Design

A vertical flipping feature arrives with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. The back panel is glass-loaded and the handset can be shot with three colors, Mirror Black, Mirror Gold and Mirror Purple. A Hideaway Hinge is given for the phone to fold vertically, and there are also different angles close to a laptop screen. The mobile is quite small in the unfolded state (almost like a tiny wallet). Nonetheless, you will see a very big display as soon as you open the unit. The computer is so big that it is difficult to use with one side. So it doesn’t matter if you have long or short fingers, because most of the time you need two hands to use this tool.

The smudges are one drawback we found in design. Oh, fingerprints and dust quickly smudge the screen. Most of the time, the window and the back panel of the Galaxy Z flip must be covered with fabric. As far as the plating quality is concerned, it feels strong and you’re ready to fold up and reveal the Galaxy Z Flip, even though it’s sweet.

Flex Mode

The Hideaway Hinge also opens the door for a new feature called Flex Mode. In this configuration, it is broken into two 4-inch screens when the window is opened halfway so that the items or videos are conveniently viewed on the top of the monitor and managed in the lower half. ‘

It is fascinating as one can take late-night videos without a tripod. This makes it very fun. Only open it and position it on a safe surface. In fact, YouTube videos can be accessed at the top half and comments shown at the second end. That said, Flex Mode certainly looks fine, though the usability of the device is very minimal. Only the camera application, YouTube and Google Duo support this mode. It is not explicit when this feature is enabled by external devices.

Cover Display

The new cover design is another interesting feature of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. A 1.1-inch Super AMOLED 300 x 112 pixel-resolution touchscreen is used on your phone. The cover shows the date and time together with updates. You should press and open the screen to display the message.

In addition, music with a cover show can also be regulated. More importantly, the rear camera may be used to capture pictures. You just need to push the power button double-click on the cover monitor to view photos. Nonetheless, anything from the viewfinder is almost impossible to view, especially when taking a picture in a group or something.

Display

In the front of the panel, a 6.7 “Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex screen with a 2636x 1080 pixel resolution and 425ppi pixel density is mounted on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. The punch-holes show is like what we saw on other Samsung smartphones. However, the high aspect ratio of the adjustable monitor is 22:9. The corners of the computer can, therefore, be difficult to reach.

That said, in the center of the screen, you see the plump, which might seem strange at first, but you’ll get comfortable with it. Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) and the security layer above it have been demonstrated by the company. The protective coating can not be replaced and the user must be vigilant when a scrape or a dark mark spoils the show. It is preferable.

Hardware

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 CPU, along with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, drives the Samsung Galaxy Z Switch. Samsung opted for a Qualcomm flagship chipset for the Galaxy Z Flip foldable smartphone. It is nice to see. Throughout our quick test, we noticed that the efficiency of the smartphone was smooth and multifunctional. Nonetheless, we have played no smartphone game, so we can’t talk about the Galaxy Z Flip gaming experience.

Software

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip on the app front runs Android 10, while the oneUI 2.0 is on the road. The Interface is just like what we used on Samsung’s other smartphones. Samsung Knox Security Safety and Samsung Pay is supplied with the Galaxy Z Flip for contactless payment. The multi-task on this smartphone is quite impressive because the high aspect ratio is fully utilized. The divided screen can also be tailored to the scale, which is, after all, a useful function.

Camera

On the front of the phone, the Galaxy Z Flip is armed with a double-cameras configuration on the back, which has a double-pixel sensor 12 megapixels with an f/1.8 aperture and a broad-angled 12-megapixel lens with a 123-degree field and an aperture of f/2.2. The handset will be mounted onto the front with an auto-focus and a 10-Megapixel selfie sensor.

The Flex feature is used by the camera app. It helps you to view the top half of the frame, while the bottom half is able to zoom in or out, adjust camera settings and more. It is fun to use a zoom function, although it is difficult to zoom in one go because of the slippery design.

Battery

A 3,300 mAh battery with a 15W fast charge carrier charges the device and also wireless power service. The business has also given the option of charging certain items, such as Wireless PowerShare and Fitness Bands and more. The storage may be a concern as the high-resolution screen and the whole interface would definitely overload the battery power.

Security and Connectivity

A side-mounted fingerprints reader, which also functions as a power button, is included with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. The fingerprint sensor can be activated easily (when the fingerprint sensors are in the display) and it functions very well. We thought that the only issue was the fingerprint sensor placement. To touch the fingerprint sensor was a little awkward. At the networking point, it enables Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / ac, VHT80 MU-MIMO,256QAM, Bluetooth v 5.0, (LE up to 2Mbps), ANT+, USB Type-C, NFC, Distance (GPS, Galileo, Glonass, BeiDou). Regional communication is enabled.

Should you buy it?

So, is the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Flip worth purchasing? Instead of a hardware machine, it’s more like a lifestyle device. The pliable mobile is built for the people who love testing out and flaunting new technology. Yeah, if you have ample bank balance and want to flaunt your friends or enemies with a new type of gadget, then you have the Galaxy Z Turn. If you do, you can always wait as it is only the first version of the folding panel that is more robust and cheaper for the coming generations.
