Xiaomi has announced that the Mi 11 Ultra 67W fast charger will be available separately in India shortly. Late last month, the flagship smartphone made its debut in the region. However, owing to certification restrictions, Xiaomi revealed that it will bundle a 55W converter in India instead of the 67W quick charger that is available in the retail box of the Mi 11 Ultra globally. In an hour, the included battery would charge the phone from zero to 99 percent. This is slightly slower than the 67W charger’s advertised charging time of 36 minutes.
The 67W wired charger will be a separate order, Xiaomi reported to Gadgets 360, and it will be available in India very soon. The company has stated that it is considering introducing the 67W wireless charger to the United States. MySmartPrice was the first to report on the 67W charger’s arrival in the nation.
The new charger will not be included with the Mi 11 Ultra; instead, it will be sold separately. This is in contrast to the Mi 11 Ultra’s global unit, which has a 67W battery. It ensures that the 55W charger will remain in the retail box of the smartphone in India.
Xiaomi has not yet announced the precise availability and price of the 67W quick charger. The Mi 11 Ultra also has a 67W wireless charging capability and can wirelessly charge other devices at a speed of up to 10W.
Last month, Xiaomi introduced the Mi 11 Ultra to the Indian market. The phone costs Rs. 69,999 for the single 12GB RAM + 256GB disc configuration. It’s available in two colours: Cosmic Black and Cosmic White.
The Mi 11 Ultra will not be available in India until later this year. The handset, however, was first mentioned on Amazon, alongside Mi.com, the company’s official website.
