Following the debut of the OnePlus 9 series with the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro smartphones earlier this year, the firm is now rumoured to be working on the OnePlus 9T special edition.

According to a new Weibo leak (via TechDroider), OnePlus will introduce the OnePlus 9T, but no OnePlus 9T Pro will be released this year. The OnePlus 9T is expected to have a 120Hz variable refresh rate Samsung LTPO OLED display. As a result, the refresh rate will vary based on the material displayed on the screen. In comparison to the 9 Pro’s QHD+ screen, the OnePlus 9T will have a FullHD+ display.

 The article doesn’t reveal much data about the OnePlus 9T’s specifications. The Snapdragon 888 or Snapdragon 888+ (Pro) SoC with at least 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage is expected to power the OnePlus 9T.

Last year, OnePlus did not release a OnePlus 8T Pro. In addition. The OnePlus 7T Pro was released in 2019. (and even a OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition).

Meanwhile, on June 10, OnePlus will introduce the OnePlus Nord CE 5G in India. The phone is rumoured to sport a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It might be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G processor. A triple back camera arrangement with a 64-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera might be included. There will also be a fingerprint scanner on the side. It will most likely come pre-installed with OxygenOS 11.
