On April 20, Oppo will unveil the all-new Oppo A74 5G, the company’s first 5G-ready phone in India.
According to the company, the phone would be available for less than Rs 20,000. This is Oppo’s first phone in the budget-friendly market to support 5G.
On Amazon India, a landing page for the smartphone has appeared, revealing that the Oppo A74 5G will be released at 12 p.m. on April 20.
According to recent specifications shared by a tipster, the A74 5G specs in India may vary slightly from the A74 5G announced in Southeast Asian markets.
The specs of the Oppo A74 5G would be identical to those of the Oppo A93 5G, which was released in China earlier this year.
Oppo A74 5G expected Indian specifications
The Oppo A74 5G will have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. A side-facing fingerprint scanner will be installed for security. It will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage that can be expanded using a microSD module.
A 48-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel portrait lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera would make up the phone’s triple-camera configuration. A front-facing 8-megapixel camera would be used for selfies and video calls.
The Oppo A74 5G will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging and will run Android 11. It will be 162.9 x 74.7 x 8.4mm in size and 188 grams in weight.
