On Friday, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11X, and Mi 11X Pro in India with a virtual event that was livestreamed on the company’s YouTube page. The Mi 11 Ultra is the first phone in the Mi 11 series to arrive in India, and as the name suggests, it is the top-tier version. Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro+ are rebranded Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro, which were released in China in February. All three phones are Xiaomi’s flagship models, with triple camera setups on the back.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro: Price in India, availability

The 12GB + 256GB version of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra costs Rs. 69,990. It comes in two colours: black and white. The phone will be available for purchase shortly, and the company will have more information through its social media platforms. The 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 29,999, while the 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 31,999. Finally, the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro costs Rs. 39,990 for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs. 41,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. Celestial Silver, Cosmic Black, and Frosty White are the colours available for the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro. The Mi 11X will be available starting April 27 and the Mi 11X Pro will be available starting April 24.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra specifications

Mi 11 Ultra has a 6.81-inch WQHD+ (1,440×3,200 pixels) E4 AMOLED touchscreen with 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and 515 ppi pixel density and runs MIUI 12 built on Android 11. It has a peak brightness of 1,700 nits, a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, and a DCI-P3 colour gamut of 100%. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the display. On the back, there is a 1.1-inch secondary display with a resolution of 126×294 pixels. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC with Adreno 660 GPU powers the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. It has 256GB of UFS 3.1 disc and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The Mi 11 Ultra has a triple rear camera system for images and videos, which includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.95 lens with OIS, a 48-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens with a 128-degree FoV, and a 48-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens with up to 120x optical zoom. A 20-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.3 aperture is housed in a hole-punch cutout in the top left corner of the screen on the front.

The Mi 11 Ultra has 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, AGPS, NavIC support, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. Ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, hall sensor, barometer, grip sensor, colour temperature sensor, flicker sensor, and multi-point laser focus sensor are some of the sensors onboard. There’s even an in-display fingerprint reader and an IR Blaster. A 5,000mAh battery powers the Mi 11 Ultra and allows 67W wired and wireless charging, as well as 10W reverse wireless charging. The specs of the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro are identical, but there are a few main variations. Both phones have a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1,300 nits peak brightness, and 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) resolution. The displays also have HDR10+ support, 107.6% NTSC colour space coverage, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and SGS Eye Care Certification. The phones have a screen-to-body ratio of 92.61 percent.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with Adreno 650 GPU is at the heart of the Xiaomi Mi 11X. Up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 capacity are available. The Snapdragon 888 SoC with Adreno 660 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of computing power the Mi 11X Pro.

In terms of optics, the Mi 11X has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 main sensor with an f/1.79 lens that supports OIS, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide f/2.2 lens that has a 119-degree field of view, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture. The primary sensor on the Mi 11X Pro is replaced with a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 sensor with an f/1.75 lens and no OIS, although the other two sensors remain unchanged. Both phones have a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.45 aperture for selfies and video calls.

The two phones have 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, AGPS, NavIC service, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. Bluetooth v5.1 is included in the Mi 11X, while Bluetooth v5.2 and Wi-Fi 6e are included in the Mi 11X Pro. Ambient light monitor, proximity sensor, e-compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner are among the sensors aboard. The 4,520mAh batteries in the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro allow 33W rapid charging and 2.5W wired reverse charging. Both phones come with dual speakers that support Dolby Atmos. They have measurements of 163.7×76.4×7.8mm and a weight of 196 grams.
